This Privacy Policy describes how Nomad Education Ltd (“Nomad”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you interact with our communities, including UNSUBSCRIBED by Passport Heavy and Travel Mastery, hosted on the Circle platform.
By accessing or using our community platforms or services (the “Community”), you agree to the practices described below. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. Who We Are
Nomad Education Ltd is a New Zealand-registered business. We operate educational and travel-focused communities via Circle.so, an independent U.S.-based platform provider. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not sell or trade user data.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
Registration Data: Name, email address, and login credentials.
Profile Info: Optional fields and uploaded content (e.g., profile photo, bio).
Support Requests: Emails or messages you send us.
Community Participation: Posts, comments, discussions, or DMs.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
Device Data: IP address, browser type, language, operating system.
Usage Data: Page views, session timestamps, clicks, scrolls, video plays.
Location Data: Approximate, based on IP address (no GPS collected).
Cookies: Session cookies and limited persistent cookies to support login and user experience. No ad tracking cookies are used.
You can control cookie settings via your browser. Disabling cookies may limit functionality.
C. Information from Social Login (if used)
If you choose to register or log in using a third-party account (such as Google), we may receive certain profile information from that service (e.g. name, email, profile image) as permitted by your settings. You can control what data is shared through your social account’s privacy settings.

Other members of the community who interact with your content

Social platforms if you link or mention your account
3. Payment & Subscription Information
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store or access full card numbers.
Memberships for UNSUBSCRIBED and Travel Mastery are billed every 6 months.
Users may cancel at any time via account settings or by emailing hello@passportheavy.com.
Due to digital access and instant delivery, no refunds are offered, unless required by law.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide, personalize, and maintain access to our communities
Process payments and renewals
Respond to inquiries and support requests
Send service-related communications (e.g., password resets, renewals)
Improve user experience and analyze usage trends
Comply with legal obligations
We do not share or sell your data to advertisers.
5. Sharing Your Information
Your data may be shared:
With CircleCo, Inc. (our platform host, located in the U.S.)
With Stripe (for billing and subscription management)
With analytics tools, to understand community usage
With other users, when you post publicly or send DMs
With legal authorities, when required to comply with law
In the event of a sale or merger, only with proper safeguards
With your consent, when you authorise us to share it
6. Analytics Tools
We may use limited third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how members use our communities. These tools may collect anonymized information about:
Page views, time on site, click paths, bounce rates
Mouse activity, scroll behavior, and exit pages
We do not run ads or track behavior across third-party websites.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data:
As long as your account is active
For up to 24 months after your last login
Longer if required for accounting or legal obligations
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
8. Data Hosting & International Transfers
Circle and Stripe host and process data in the United States. By using our services, you consent to data being transferred to, and stored in, the U.S. or other countries where these providers operate.
Nomad Education Ltd remains the data controller.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access or correct your personal information
Cancel your subscription
Delete your account
Object to certain types of processing
Request a copy of your data

10. Children’s Privacy
Our communities are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. If we learn we have received data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us for assistance.
11. Your Choices
Account Info: You may update your account profile anytime.
Cancel Subscription: Cancel from your dashboard or by email.
Email Preferences: Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any promotional email.
Push Notifications: Disable via your phone or browser settings.
Cookies: Manage through your browser.
Data Deletion: Email us to request permanent deletion of your account.
12. Do Not Track
We do not respond to browser-based “Do Not Track” signals due to the lack of industry standard.
