This Privacy Policy explains how Nomad Education Ltd (“Nomad”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you access or use our digital products, courses, and communities, including Travel Mastery and UNSUBSCRIBED, which are hosted on the Circle platform (the “Community”).
This Privacy Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By accessing or using Travel Mastery, UNSUBSCRIBED, or any related services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are
Nomad Education Ltd is a company registered in New Zealand.
We operate educational and travel-focused digital products and communities, including Travel Mastery and UNSUBSCRIBED, delivered through Circle.so, an independent platform provider.

A. Information You Provide Directly

3. Payment and Subscription Information
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store or have access to full credit or debit card numbers.
Memberships for Travel Mastery and UNSUBSCRIBED may be offered on recurring or one-time billing terms, including monthly, 6-monthly, or annual billing, depending on the product.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@passportheavy.com.
Refunds are governed by our Terms of Service. Due to the digital nature of our products and immediate access, refunds are not provided except where required by law or expressly stated.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
Provide and maintain access to Travel Mastery and UNSUBSCRIBED
Process payments, renewals, and cancellations
Communicate with you about your account, access, or support requests

With CircleCo, Inc., which hosts our Community platform
With Stripe, for payment processing and subscription management
With service providers and analytics tools used to operate and improve the Community

In connection with a business sale, merger, or restructuring, subject to appropriate safeguards
With your consent
We may also disclose information where necessary to investigate, prevent, or enforce violations of our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws, including suspected fraud or unauthorised access.
6. Analytics and Measurement Tools
We use limited analytics tools to understand how members use Travel Mastery and UNSUBSCRIBED. These tools may collect anonymised or aggregated information such as:

Navigation paths and engagement metrics
Scroll depth and exit behaviour
We do not use analytics tools to sell data or to track users across unrelated third-party websites within the Community itself.
7. Marketing, Attribution, and Advertising
We do not display third-party advertisements inside the Travel Mastery or UNSUBSCRIBED Community.
However, we may engage in marketing and attribution activities outside the Community. This may include the use of tracking technologies on external websites, landing pages, or marketing emails to:
Measure campaign performance
Attribute sign-ups or purchases
Display relevant promotional content on third-party platforms such as Google, Facebook, or Instagram
You may manage advertising preferences through your browser, device settings, or applicable third-party opt-out tools.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information:
While your account remains active
For up to 24 months after your last login or interaction
Longer where required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time.
9. Data Hosting and International Transfers
Circle and Stripe store and process data in the United States and other jurisdictions where they operate.
By using Travel Mastery or UNSUBSCRIBED, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information outside New Zealand. Nomad Education Ltd remains the data controller.
10. Security Measures
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Payment transactions are protected using industry-standard security measures, including encryption and compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
No system is completely secure, but we follow generally accepted industry practices to safeguard personal information.
11. Consent and Withdrawal of Consent
By creating an account, enrolling in Travel Mastery or UNSUBSCRIBED, making a purchase, or participating in the Community, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Where we rely on consent for marketing communications, you may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting hello@passportheavy.com.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already carried out. We may still send essential service-related communications where necessary.

Cancel your subscription

There is no consistent industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals. As a result, we do not alter our data collection practices in response to such signals.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Where material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
If Nomad Education Ltd or its products are acquired or merged with another entity, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
